Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled engineer to work within a secure site of Mitie on a 4 on 4 off day/night 12-hour shift rota. The job concerns carrying out Safety checks, reactive works, planned maintenance servicing and general repairs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out Safety checks, reactive works, planned maintenance servicing and general repairs
  • Working to high levels of health and safety
  • Understanding and working to building statutory requirements
  • Ensuring regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme
  • Record keeping
  • Providing good customer service

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Multiskilled engineer
  • Ability to work on a 4 on 4 off day/night 12-hour shift rota
  • Ability to carry out Safety checks, reactive works, planned maintenance servicing and general repairs
  • Ability to work to high levels of health and safety
  • Understanding of building statutory requirements
  • Ability to ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme
  • IT literate for record keeping
  • Good customer service skills
  • Physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description
  • Background in facilities maintenance within the construction sector, data hall industry, critical engineering or similar
  • Qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition for electrically biased engineers
  • City & Guilds craft certificate/ONC etc., recognised craft apprenticeship for mechanical/plumbing biased engineers

  • To undertake other duties commensurate to the grade of the post
