Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer / Quality Representative to support renewable energy construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with HSE, quality standards, and project requirements across all site activities. The successful candidate will provide quality leadership, oversee inspections, manage documentation, and act as a technical subject matter expert for mechanical QA/QC activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards across all site activities
  • Implement and maintain the project quality plan, tracking deficiencies and driving resolution
  • Perform and oversee QA/QC inspections (mechanical installations, receiving, etc.) using digital systems (Vyn)
  • Manage nonconformities and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contract requirements
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to review materials and designs
  • Conduct site inspections and support quality control with third-party engineering teams
  • Manage and maintain all project documentation and QC records
  • Lead or participate in quality-related meetings and reporting
  • Provide technical support and act as a mechanical QA/QC subject matter resource

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction, or project management
  • 3+ years of QA/QC experience in construction and solar (PV preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards
  • Experience with solar design and quality processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Energy storage (BESS) experience is a plus
