The Mechanical QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical construction, installation, and commissioning activities on a mega-scale petrochemical project comply with approved specifications, project quality requirements, international codes, and applicable standards. The role requires extensive experience in petrochemical projects, strong technical knowledge, and hands-on inspection expertise across all mechanical disciplines.
Job Responsibility:
Perform QA/QC inspections for mechanical construction activities including piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, static and rotating equipment
Verify installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality plans
Review and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements
Witness welding, NDT, hydrostatic testing, and mechanical completion activities
Review material certifications, inspection reports, and mechanical dossiers
Raise and follow up on NCRs and ensure corrective actions are closed
Coordinate with construction, engineering, client, and third‑party inspection teams
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Mechanical QA/QC Inspector
At least 5–7 years on large-scale or mega petrochemical, refinery, or oil & gas projects
