Job Description:

Mechanical Proposals Engineer position in the M Power Projects Division, responsible for analyzing customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and negotiating technical proposals with customers.

Job Responsibility:

Analyse customer requirements and collaborate with the Proposal Manager to define and prepare deliverables required during the Sales & Bidding process
Review and understand the technical aspects of the tender and of the proposed product, working closely with internal technical experts to ensure technical excellence
Prepare technical studies, designs, Bills of Materials, and supporting documentation that form part of the proposal package or support the Costing estimations
Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, construction, etc.), as well as with external subcontractors, and/or consultants to receive the required information & data
Evaluate bids from partners, suppliers, and subcontractors, providing recommendations to the Proposal Manager and Costing Manager
Comment the Customer requirements and present and negotiate technical proposals with customers and technology providers

Requirements:

University degree in Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience in a similar role or involvement in proposal, tendering, sales procedures, or project execution in the Energy sector
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering aspects in Energy projects
Fluency in English is essential
knowledge of French or German will be considered an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to customer and project sites, both in Greece and abroad

Nice to have:

Knowledge of French or German
Previous experience in the Energy sector
