Job Description:

Control the overall operational delivery of a project (or part thereof), considering the safety, technical, commercial, and managerial requirements, from bid and pre-commencement through to successful practical completion. Ensuring that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership, high-quality customer relations, and management of relevant support functions allocated to the project.

Job Responsibility:

Demonstrate strong Health and Safety leadership and compliance
Support Senior Management and central H&S team with communications
Deliver projects in line with ISO and business process
Participate in bid activities to support sales and proposal teams
Manage pre-commencement activities
Review project scope of works
Engage with supply chain
Engage with commercial team on subcontractor contracts
Work with project commercial lead to identify and manage project risks and opportunities
Lead team to manage specialist subcontractors
Provide leadership for the project delivery team
Offer guidance and feedback to maximise team performance
Provide Customer Progress Reporting
Provide internal business reports and contract reviews
Pro-actively engage with Commercial team on contractual matters
Develop/maintain positive long-term relationships with customers
Lead project team to safe and successful completion of the project
Manage and support effective use of company email
Represent the business and attend events
Initiate contact with customers to assess future needs
Operate as a subject matter expert
Prepare and carry out employee performance reviews
Maintain/develop skills and team performance

Requirements:

Rights to work essential
Leadership and people management
Management within Construction and M&E environment
Sector and industry knowledge within Data Centre and associated services environment
IT skills in Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint presentation
Financial awareness of profit and loss and commercial costing
SMST, IOSH for managers, CSCS, ECS accreditation
