If so, we have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Job Responsibility:
Enable and carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive work across our sites
Assist the manager with organising workloads and contractors
Work with site operation teams and other EM&I departments to keep the site compliant
Continuously identify and look for ways to make improvements around site to increase the reliability of our plant, assets and site compliance
Ensuring the effective operation of plant machinery and equipment is maintained
Carrying out fault finding, fault diagnosis and fault resolution
Planning and organising workloads
Managing contractors and issuing permits to work
Understanding assets and our design standards to provide the best possible service to customers
Producing condition reports on plant/assets
Visually inspecting and condition monitoring assets
Reviewing Scada trends to review system performance and investigating issues
Managing critical spares and spares lists
Delivering a first-class safety approach to work
Working in and around DSEAR Zones
Assisting with the delivery of schemes
Requirements:
Comprehensive experience in mechanical fault finding
Background working within a 24/7 operational plant and machinery environment
City & Guilds/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a time served Engineering apprenticeship
Formal electrical training (dual skilled) - (preferred but not essential)
Fully competent using a range of IT equipment, software and corporate reports
Familiar with working in a health and safety focussed environment and have personally contributed to safer working practices
Valid UK driving licence
