As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for the preventative mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical equipment in the factory. You will follow plant sanitation practices and procedures while staying informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.
Job Responsibility:
Preventative mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical equipment in the factory
Follow plant sanitation practices and procedures
Stay informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations
Work in a safe manner at all times
Play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant
Properly use maintenance equipment including hand tools, lifts, threaders, benders, drills and welding equipment
Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment
Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs
Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment
What we offer:
Starting pay of $40.18/hour for Class C, with potential to earn up to $46.23/hour through maintenance progression plan
