Mechanical Maintenance Technician

• Install or replace mechanical equipment as needed
• Provide necessary connections for machines and equipment
• Test, diagnose, repair, or replace faulty mechanical equipment
• Actively participate in continuous improvement of the plant
• Quickly inform relevant personnel in case of issues or anomalies
• Keep records up to date (required spare parts, completed work, etc.)
• Have good knowledge of control equipment (control valves, positioners, differential pressure transmitters, electromagnetic meters, temperature transmitters, etc.)
• Participate in planned production shutdowns for mechanical equipment
• Respond promptly to the needs of various departments: production, engineering, laboratory, etc.
• Collaborate in the design and technical execution of projects
• Perform welding on various equipment
• Participate in various projects as needed
• Be available for emergency calls during on-call weeks

• Hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or equivalent
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Can read and interpret schematics and technical documents
• Have knowledge of Maximo (CMMS system) – considered an asset
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Prioritize Health & Safety in all planning and execution decisions
