As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind safe execution, root cause analysis, and the continuous improvement of maintenance systems within the plant.
Job Responsibility
Manage a crew of Millwrights and other trades, ensuring full compliance with safety codes and high-performance standards
Take ownership of mechanical equipment uptime, identifying root causes of failures and implementing long-term corrective actions
Lead scheduled shutdowns and manage daily down-day plans to minimize production interruptions
Build and refine area maintenance procedures, PM programs, and condition-based maintenance protocols
Enforce zero-harm practices and mentor the team on safe work procedures in a high-pressure environment
Oversee employee attendance, performance reviews, and training requirements
Requirements
Journeyperson Millwright Certification OR a post-secondary degree with a Mechanical Engineering focus
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within an industrial setting
Strong experience working with a CMMS for work order management and asset tracking
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to organize priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure
Ability to pass a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol test and a criminal background check
