Job Responsibility:

Fault-Finding & Repair: Your primary focus will be on quick, effective fault-finding, repairs, and component replacements to minimize downtime
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Manage and execute your own PPM schedule, oversee daily checks, and ensure rigorous record-keeping
Projects & Setup: Assist with the setup of new equipment and contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site
Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to strict health and safety requirements

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an automated manufacturing plant is essential
Time-served Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or recognised Level 3 qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (must be a NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC or ONC)
Familiarity with the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment, including: hydraulic, conveyor systems, pneumatics, and various motors, control systems, compressors, and machine tools
Proven ability to manage your own PPM schedule, show strong initiative, and enjoy challenging yourself in a fast-paced environment
