Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out mechanical engineering and maintenance repairs across the site, primarily on production machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults including rollers, small gearboxes, and motors
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime
• Support planned and preventative maintenance schedules
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams to ensure smooth site operations
• Assist with general site and equipment maintenance when required

• Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance or a related discipline
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering field with industry experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or production machinery is desirable
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
