Job Description

At AWE, mechanical maintenance covers a wide range of essential roles that keep our operations running safely and efficiently. As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with pressurised systems like steam, compressed air, and gases, while servicing equipment such as vacuum pumps, HVAC systems, mechanical drives, and heat transfer units. You’ll also learn how to maintain specialist tools used in the processing of nuclear and explosive materials.
