Job Description:

The client is seeking to engage technical assistance to support ongoing maintenance activities by providing mechanical supervision expertise. This role is embedded within the routine maintenance operations of the site, ensuring that all mechanical machinery-related tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with site standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures
  • Preparing and issuing work permits
  • Participating in risk assessments and safety analyses
  • Managing work authorizations and approvals
  • Supporting site safety preparations before work commencement
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on contractors’ method statements
  • Ensuring all defined safety measures are properly implemented
  • Promoting HSE best practices, rules, and systems throughout all project phases
  • Assisting in the development and continuous updating of work schedules
  • Ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed timelines
  • Organizing or participating in coordination meetings
  • Supervising the progress of work in alignment with the schedule
  • Verifying the availability and conformity of spare parts
  • Requesting and reviewing quotations from suppliers
  • Drafting or contributing to technical specifications and scopes of work
  • Ensuring that work is performed in compliance with contractual requirements related to quality, safety, and cost
  • Coordinating on-site activities with other disciplines
  • Validating the quality and accuracy of intervention reports
  • Overseeing the acceptance of completed work and verifying technical compliance with specifications
  • Checking the accuracy and consistency of cost-related documentation
  • Accurately recording all activities using digital or paper-based systems
  • Ensuring all documentation is properly completed and maintained
  • Submitting a monthly activity report
