The Mechanical Intern will support the evaluation, planning, and documentation of MEP systems for large real estate and infrastructure projects. The role includes assisting with technical due diligence, feasibility assessments, cost estimation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and high‑quality project outputs.
Job Responsibility:
Support MEP technical due diligence for large land parcels in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Assist in preparing detailed due‑diligence reports, including risk registers
Prepare block cost estimates for MEP infrastructure services to support feasibility studies
Help assess MEP infrastructure requirements for client land parcels and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
Conduct compliance checks in line with EC norms, MoEF guidelines, Local CFO requirements, NBC 2016, IS codes, and relevant international standards
Contribute to evaluations related to water distribution networks, WTPs, STPs, stormwater drainage systems (SWD), and rainwater harvesting (RWH) systems
Create and update drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD
Work collaboratively with team members and proactively contribute to project execution
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2–3 years of relevant experience in MEP infrastructure for real estate or infrastructure projects
Basic understanding of MEP infrastructure systems and on‑site implementation requirements
Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory guidelines (EC, MoEF, CFO, NBC 2016, IS codes)
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
Knowledge of key mechanical infrastructure components such as water supply networks, WTPs, STPs, SWD, and RWH systems
Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive problem‑solving abilities
