Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, preferably in data centre or critical infrastructure projects
Deep MEP technical expertise in mechanical systems, HVAC, chilled water, pumps, piping, CRAH/CRAC units and mechanical plan installations
Expertise in MEP co-ordination, integrating mechanical systems seamlessly with electrical and plumbing infrastructure
Commissioning and testing mechanical installations, often in mission-critical environments like data centres
Strong leadership and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in construction management software and tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different countries
Fluency in English required

Job Responsibility

Manage and supervise construction activities across multiple data centre sites within Norway
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Monitor project budgets and schedules, providing regular updates to senior management
Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks
Resolve construction-related issues and escalate when necessary
Support procurement and logistics planning for construction materials and equipment
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all construction activities
Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
5+ years of progressive MEP design experience focusing on HVAC and plumbing systems
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering (CA or OR)—or ability to obtain within 90 days required
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit required
experience with Bluebeam and load simulation software (Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP, or EnergyPro) preferred
Strong understanding of Oregon and California building codes preferred

Job Responsibility

Gain a strong understanding of ColeBreit’s design standards, project delivery process, and team structure
Establish collaborative relationships with senior engineers, project managers, and key team members
Begin supporting 2–3 active projects by contributing to Revit modeling, calculations, and coordination efforts
Independently execute HVAC and plumbing system design tasks across multiple projects
Attend site visits and contribute to field observation reports
Lead coordination on assigned design packages and participate in QA/QC reviews
Mentor junior designers in drafting, modeling, and process efficiency
Manage technical design tasks on 4–6 active projects, demonstrating ownership of assigned scopes and deadlines
Participate in client or coordination meetings as a technical representative
Contribute to internal process improvements and share insights with peers
