Are you an engineer with education in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or related field and have a passion for innovation and development projects? Do you have a collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment? We are currently looking for a driven Mechanical integrity engineer for a consultant assignment at Siemens in Finspång. About the role: In this role you will be a key contributor in development projects for burners, combustors, and fuel systems, supporting innovation and reliability. You will present analysis results and technical life statements in design reviews, influencing critical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for accurate assessments and calculations, ensuring robust solutions. You perform stress and living assessments using finite element analysis (FEA) and advanced numerical methods. We see that you have knowledge and experience in tools and systems such as: Simcenter NX, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nasgro; Programming skills in Fortran, Python and Matlab; Interest in material modelling or familiarity with additive manufacturing and welding. ... We highly value experience from gas turbines or the aerospace industry. This position is based in Finspång, with an expectation of being on-site at least three days per week. Start date is may 2026.

  • You bring a collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • You have a good knowledge and experience in tools such as Simcenter NX, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nasgro
  • Experience in programming in Fortran, Python and Matlab
  • Interest in material modelling or familiarity with additive manufacturing and welding
  • You are fluent in english, written and spoken
