Job Description:

We’re recruiting a Mechanical Inspector for a global aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge. You’ll be part of a quality-first team, inspecting precision-engineered components that are used in safety-critical applications worldwide.

Job Responsibility:

Inspect machined and goods-in components using precision tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
Interpret engineering drawings and check components to tight tolerances
Complete inspection documentation with high accuracy
Record data in SAP and document non-conformances
Work to aerospace quality standards

Requirements:

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
Skilled in precision measuring equipment (metric and imperial)
Previous experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, or Subcontract Manufacturing
CMM/PC-DMIS experience (advantageous but not essential)
Knowledge of Hexagon Laser Scanning Arm is a bonus

Nice to have:

CMM/PC-DMIS experience
Knowledge of Hexagon Laser Scanning Arm
