Job Description:

NP Aerospace is assembling a team of skilled Mechanical Fitters to support high-priority defence programmes in our Coventry facility. These temporary roles offer the chance to work at the sharp edge of military vehicle integration where precision, quality, and purpose meet. Build vehicles that save lives.

Job Responsibility:

Assemble and fit mechanical and electrical sub-systems to precise tolerances
Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
Use specialist tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and correctly
Inspect components and assemblies for quality and accuracy
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams
Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements
Work safely, consistently, and with pride in your craft

Requirements:

City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive, Mechanical or Vehicle Systems
Experience in mechanical fitting or low-volume vehicle assembly
Confident interpreting engineering drawings and working from schematics
Comfortable in a fast-paced, quality-first environment
Proactive, team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic
