Job Responsibility:

  • Maintenance & Repair: Executing planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of industrial plant equipment
  • Precision Fitting: Overhauling water pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Diagnostics: Troubleshooting mechanical faults to minimise downtime
  • Safety Leadership: Maintaining a 'safety first' mindset in every task you undertake

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter/Machinist) or equivalent
  • Experience: A solid background in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Reliability: You are punctual, professional, and ready to get stuck in
  • Safety Compliance: You must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen and remain compliant with ongoing site testing
  • Local Knowledge: Ideally based in (or willing to relocate to) the Townsville region
