Mechanical Fitter

• Diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling core equipment such as sewage pumps, mixers, aerators, gearboxes, and control valves
• Executing precise alignment and installation of rotating machinery to eliminate vibration and extend asset life
• Safely performing isolation and reconnection duties under your Restricted Electrical Work License
• Actively engaging in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve systemic equipment failures

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the preventative and corrective maintenance of Water and Sewerage Pumps, Treatment Plants, and all associated mechanical equipment
• Formal certification as a Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter (Australian Recognised or equivalent)
• Current and valid Restricted Electrical Work License (essential for motor isolation/reconnection duties)
• White Card
• MR license (desirable)
