Job Responsibility:

  • Maintenance & Repair: Executing planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety of industrial plant equipment
  • Precision Fitting: Overhauling water pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Diagnostics: Troubleshooting mechanical faults to minimise downtime
  • Safety Leadership: Maintaining a safety first mindset in every task you undertake

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter/Machinist) or equivalent
  • Solid background in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Punctual, professional, and ready to get stuck in
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen and remain compliant with ongoing site testing
  • Ideally based in (or willing to relocate to) the Townsville region
  • Australian Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
  • Preferred LF licensed
