Mechanical Engineering Intern

• 3D-print and assemble prototypes for functional and durability testing
• Create parts using multiple materials and prototyping processes
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate new parts and resolve fit-and-function challenges
• Contribute to the design and engineering of next-generation robot revisions
• Create and edit CAD models for 3D printing or milling
• Document print settings, test results, and prototyping workflows
• Maintain print lab organization and manage inventory of prototyping materials

• Hands-on experience in mechanical engineering or prototyping
• Basic CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Onshape, etc.)
• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field
• Comfortable with physical work including setup, assembly, and post-processing
• Able to work full-time on-site in Palo Alto
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
