We’re looking for a college student who is working on a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering (Bachelor’s, or Master’s), to help participate in developing breakthrough manufacturing technologies for space and terrestrial spin-offs. We will provide you with a 12 week internship during which you will be performing hands-on meaningful projects aligned with our company goals and objectives. Job Responsibility:
Work on various project tasks under direction of senior engineering staff and mentors in Deployable Solar Arrays, Structures and Mechanisms
Apply engineering principles in areas of design, analysis, manufacturing, and test
Generate technical documentation, reporting and presentations of design, test, and analysis results
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited University or College, pursuing either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering
Competent with 3D CAD modeling, SolidWorks preferred
Competent in robotics software development
Must be able to obtain a security clearance
Must be US Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR regulations
