We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a customer project. The position is based in Tuusula and requires primarily on-site work at the customer's premises. The initial assignment is a fixed-term project driven by a specific customer need. After its completion, you may continue working on other customer projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area as well as at our Espoo office. The employment contract with Innokas is permanent. In your first role, you will work on mechanical design related to an X-ray system. The assignment starts as soon as possible. You will use Creo and work in the customer's own PLM and IT systems, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary experts in an international and regulated environment.
Job Responsibility:
Design, implement, integrate, and test mechanical solutions for a medical imaging device
Model parts and assemblies using Creo
Work with sheet metal structures, plastic parts (injection molding), mechanisms, and surface modeling
Support prototyping, documentation, and verification activities
Create mechanical specifications and related technical documentation
Collaborate closely with international customer and Innokas teams in a regulated environment
Requirements:
Several years of experience in mechanical design and product development
Hands-on experience with Creo (experience with customer-specific PLM systems is a plus)
Broad understanding of materials and manufacturing technologies
Self-driven, structured way of working and the ability to operate effectively on-site with the customer
Good command of English and basic Finnish language skills
Experience in part and assembly design
Sheet metal structures
Injection-molded components
Mechanical mechanisms
Prototyping and verification
Medical device mechanics or other regulated industries is a clear advantage
Nice to have:
Experience with customer-specific PLM systems
