Job Responsibility:

  • Apply knowledge of pressure vessel design, including ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 standards, in the design of capital process equipment
  • Design machinery and systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and aseptic process machine production
  • Conduct stress analyses and finite element analyses (FEA) and work with stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow, heat transfer, instrumentation, controls, and refrigeration systems
  • You will develop and comprehend large industrial equipment for pharmaceutical and related applications
  • Manage projects, monitor cost variances, and interact effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Support equipment start-up and validation activities
  • Promote and adhere to SHEQ (safety, health, environment, and quality) requirements for yourself, your department, and all contractors and visitors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or related engineering discipline with 5 to 10 years of experience
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and that of drafting resources
  • Proficiency in computer tools and drawing software is required
  • Ability to work independently with efficiency and strong communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with refrigeration systems and heat transfer applications
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with vacuum systems and stainless steel fabrication
  • Understanding of electrical distribution, automation, and control systems
  • Ability to perform advanced stress analysis and FEA
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Availability for overtime when required
