Exciting Opportunity: Engineer (Processing Systems & Machinery) Are you an innovative problem-solver with a passion for mechanical design and hands-on technical challenges? We are representing a global leader in advanced technology solutions seeking a skilled Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be at the heart of the product lifecycle from initial design and proposal preparation to the installation and commissioning of complex processing systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate detailed engineering designs, perform critical calculations, and prepare technical specifications for high-performance machinery
  • Provide vital support during fabrication, address production queries, and manage the shipment and installation of processing equipment
  • Lead on-site commissioning and troubleshooting assignments, including electrical systems like Motor Control Centres (MCC), ensuring seamless operation at customer sites
  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of next-generation machines and evaluate components for future machinery
  • Partner with marketing functions to define technical scopes and equipment specifications for winning customer proposals
  • Maintain accurate engineering records within the ERP system and develop comprehensive technical reports for all site assignments

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in engineering design or technical support, ideally within processing systems or industrial machinery
  • Proven capability in mechanical design with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and understand electrical integration
  • A willingness to travel for commissioning and troubleshooting assignments, including potential overseas travel and extended stays based on project needs
  • Strong commitment to meeting urgent project timelines and maintaining high-quality documentation with minimal rework
  • Ability to work under the guidance of senior leadership while effectively communicating with production, marketing, and customers
