You’ll design mechanical HVAC systems for new and existing buildings, including renewable and sustainable technologies that provide the best value to building owners. You’ll prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications; perform condition assessments; assist with construction cost estimates; and prepare punch lists. You’ll also review shop drawings and resolve RFIs. You’ll help manage projects. You’ll help develop the work plan and conceptual designs. You’ll help oversee the budget, schedule, and scope while ensuring the project adheres to Primera’s quality improvement and review processes. You’ll enjoy what you do. Job Responsibility:
Design mechanical HVAC systems for new and existing buildings, including renewable and sustainable technologies
Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications
Perform condition assessments

Help oversee budget, schedule, and scope
Ensure project adheres to quality improvement and review processes
Requirements:
5 to 10 years of mechanical experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering
PE license required
Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes for ventilation, humidity control, load calculations, and duct sizing techniques
Knowledge of key performance parameters for air handlers, pumps, chillers, temperature controls, ductwork accessories, heat exchangers and tanks, and sustainable design
Knowledge of key architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection considerations as they relate to mechanical systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project
Working knowledge of CAD methods and procedures
Comfortable with HVAC calculation software tools
Ability to work independently or in a team
Positive attitude
Ability to develop relationships with staff and clients
Ability to delegate, mentor, and lead as required
