Job Responsibility
Design and develop robust mechanical systems for large-scale pallet assembly automation
Apply engineering fundamentals to create high-performance solutions
Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
Partner with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to integrate systems
Contribute to a team-first engineering culture by sharing knowledge and mentoring others
Build and test prototypes, analyze performance data, and refine designs
Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, reduce costs, and streamline production
Design with safety, durability, and uptime in mind
Ensure all systems meet applicable standards, regulations, and customer expectations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
Experience in automation machinery, capital equipment, or heavy equipment design
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Strong understanding of mechanical design, structural systems, and materials selection
Experience with structural steel, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication
Nice to have
Experience with pallet assembly, woodworking, or high-speed automation systems
Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Experience with SolidWorks PDM or ERP systems
Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification
