Job Description:

A great opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading air conditioning manufacturer, working in their projects team!

Job Responsibility:

  • Primarily work on Service Project works under the day to day supervision of the Project Lead Engineer
  • Assist the Project Lead Engineer with onsite works e.g. Refurbishment / Kitform / upgrades / CRAH unit install
  • Be prepared to work outside of a standard time schedule to ensure works are completed to a deadline
  • Be prepared to work away from home, if required
  • Ensure project reports, vetting forms and customer specific requirements are completed in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Act in a professional manner towards customers at all times
  • Actively work with the Project Lead Engineer to achieve prescribed targets
  • Be prepared to work across aftermarket departments e.g. supporting the Technical support and Controls teams

Requirements:

  • Mechanical / brazing experience required. (Electrical experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given)
  • Display a positive attitude when faced with a challenge
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Health and safety – Hold, or willing to gain CITB Health and Safety
  • IPAF & MEWP Certificate – Hold, or willing to gain
  • In date passport
  • CITB / CSCS card – ideal but not essential
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and assume additional duties
