A great opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading air conditioning manufacturer, working in their projects team!
Job Responsibility:
Primarily work on Service Project works under the day to day supervision of the Project Lead Engineer
Assist the Project Lead Engineer with onsite works e.g. Refurbishment / Kitform / upgrades / CRAH unit install
Be prepared to work outside of a standard time schedule to ensure works are completed to a deadline
Be prepared to work away from home, if required
Ensure project reports, vetting forms and customer specific requirements are completed in a prompt and efficient manner
Act in a professional manner towards customers at all times
Actively work with the Project Lead Engineer to achieve prescribed targets
Be prepared to work across aftermarket departments e.g. supporting the Technical support and Controls teams
Requirements:
Mechanical / brazing experience required. (Electrical experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given)
Display a positive attitude when faced with a challenge
Ability to work on own initiative
Health and safety – Hold, or willing to gain CITB Health and Safety
IPAF & MEWP Certificate – Hold, or willing to gain
In date passport
CITB / CSCS card – ideal but not essential
Full UK driving license
Good written and oral communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and assume additional duties
What we offer:
Basic salary of up to £35,000 (39 hour week)
