We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the growth of a Mining & Minerals engineering team in Western Australia / South Australia. The role involves contributing to studies and project delivery across materials handling, plant design, and mechanical systems.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and provide guidance on engineering specifications, equipment selection, installation, and operational methodologies
Support materials handling and plant performance assessments
Perform detailed mechanical analysis and design to ensure safety, compliance, and constructability
Evaluate mechanical equipment performance during construction, commissioning, and operation
Work closely with engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver coordinated, cost-effective solutions
Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and design calculations
Liaise with clients, authorities, and project stakeholders as needed
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and participate in design workshops and risk assessments
Ensure all work meets relevant legislation, standards, and internal procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
3–5 years post-graduate experience in mechanical engineering within the Mining & Mineral Processing space
Strong background in developing engineering solutions within site constraints
Effective communicator with strong coordination skills, especially with site teams and contractors
Proactive, hands-on approach to solving engineering challenges
