  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability

Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience in robotics, aerospace, automotive, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience with rope/cable/tendon mechanisms (selection, terminations, wear)
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, OnShape, NX) and 2D drawing creation
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and fits/fasteners
  • Prototype build skills and comfort working hands-on in a lab/shop environment
  • Ability to plan and execute test protocols
  • analyze results and document conclusions
