Join our team and contribute to innovative engineered solutions in a dynamic and international environment. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in translating customer needs into tailored compressed-air, drying, and accessory solutions for industrial applications, including energy and power plant sectors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and assess technical alternatives for engineered solutions, identifying risks and selecting the most effective approach
  • Design and modify technical drawings and parts lists using CAD systems (Inventor/AutoCAD) and ENOVIA
  • Write procedures and ensure the safety and quality of designs through risk analyses
  • Support technicians throughout the production process, resolve technical issues, and validate the work of peers
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, competence carriers, and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Support the quotation team in translating specifications into machine requirements and selecting appropriate components
  • Contribute to system designs, promote standardization, and ensure centralized data sharing within the Global Engineering team
  • Report to the Engineering Team Leader of Engineered Solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Experience with steam behaviour, steam/gas turbines, and compressors (including Piller compressors)
  • Experience in industrial engineering
  • Proficiency with CAD systems (Inventor/AutoCAD) and ENOVIA
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Affinity for mechanical design and product optimization
  • Initiative, problem-solving mindset, and team spirit

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the energy sector (e.g., Siemens, TotalEnergies) or with combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plants
  • Dutch language skills
  • Experience as a commissioning engineer or in a study bureau
