Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take a pivotal role in the design of next-generation solutions for the dental industry. You will join an integrated multi-disciplinary development team as a developer, and you will work closely with other engineering disciplines to transform conceptual work into a finished product that our users will love and use! To support you in succeeding in this role, you will join our mechanical engineering team and e.g. take part in our recurring sessions of technical mentorship as part of a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the mechanical design and development together with project managers and engineering peers
  • Translate high-level performance requirements into detailed mechanical concepts, models, and manufacturable components
  • Drive detailed CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, and mechanical simulation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics, firmware, and system engineering to ensure seamless mechanical and electro-mechanical integration
  • Champion design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) considerations and supplier collaboration to ensure quality and cost-effective production

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, mechatronics, or autonomous systems, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in high-precision product development or complex electromechanical systems
  • Proven track record in parametric CAD and mechanical simulation. We use Solid Works
  • Experience in mechanical principles, including kinematics, requirement engineering, product quality tests, and tolerance stack-up
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive complex concepts to completion
  • Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams where product innovation is delivered in the cross-section of disciplines
