X-Bow Systems is expanding and is looking to fill a Mech/Elec Technician position in Socorro, NM. X-Bow Systems is a cutting-edge aerospace technology company focused on revolutionizing propulsion systems for space exploration and defense applications.

Job Responsibility

  • Install, operate, test and maintain manufacturing equipment, including automated and robotic parts, integral to our solid rocket motor propellant production facilities
  • Own mechanical assembly, repair and maintenance required for site operations and program support
  • Identify blockers, guide processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls
  • Meet schedule goals regarding installation, commissioning and deployment of components, sub-assemblies, and top-level facilities

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience with installation/testing/commissioning of mechanical, electrical/controls and fluidic systems/facilities
  • Experience servicing pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, precision flow meters, instrumentation, data acquisition, power supplies, PLC panels, etc.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineers/technicians
  • Demonstrated electro/mechanical hands-on dis-assembly/assembly and trouble-shooting aptitude
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Must be a US Persons as defined by § 120.62 of the ITAR
