The Rewards Competitive Pay (PAYE): £21.31 (Days) | £25.57 (Backshift) Competitive Pay (Umbrella): £28.91 (Days) | £34.69 (Backshift) The Schedule: Mon-Fri rotational shifts (07:00-15:00 / 14:30-22:30). The Mission Advanced Diagnostics: Execute complex fault-finding using specialised tools and intricate engineering schematics. Systems Validation: Lead the testing of high-spec fleet trains to ensure peak performance. Collaborative Engineering: Partner with Lead Technicians to investigate systemic failures and provide technical feedback that shapes future reliability. What You Bring Technical Foundation: NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Minimum). Diagnostic Prowess: Proven experience in fault-finding or validation within high-stakes environments (Aviation, Automotive, or Renewables experience is highly valued if not from Rail). Blueprints: Expert-level ability to interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
