Job Description

The Mechanical & Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and electrical systems according to prints, schematics, and work instructions. This role supports production goals by ensuring assemblies meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
  • Perform electrical wiring, panel assembly, and component installation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality
  • Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues as needed
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams

Requirements

  • Previous mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, terminals, connectors)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
