Requirements

HND in an applicable engineering/design discipline preferred or HNC with relevant experience
Extensive experience in mechanical design in line with BS/ISO standards
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
Experience with design for manufacture, pipework, pressure vessels, and structural steelwork
Experience with Autodesk Revit and GD&T (desirable)
Familiarity with BS8888 and ASME Y14.5 drawing standards (desirable)
Experience with origination of detailed drawings

Job Responsibility

Develop complete design concepts, scheme definitions, and full detailed design solutions using CAD software, including Inventor
Work on piping systems, mechanical flow diagrams, and the production of general arrangement, assembly, component, and fabrication drawings
Ensure designs adhere to the AEIL Quality Management System, delivering work within agreed time scales, costs, and quality standards.

Degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or aerospace engineering, or an equivalent technical/professional qualification
