Job Description

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for the design and technical delivery of components and systems within our helicopter development programs. The successful candidate will join the Mechanical Design Team, operating within an international design office environment. The primary focus of this role is the engineering of helicopter dynamic systems, where the highest levels of precision and reliability are required.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and technical delivery of components and systems within helicopter development programs
  • Developing and refining mechanical components for helicopter dynamic systems using CATIA V5
  • Ensuring all designs comply with rigorous aerospace standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
  • Preparing comprehensive technical drawings, including detailed assembly layouts and 2D drafting with application of GD&T
  • Collaborating with the international engineering team to ensure the seamless integration of dynamic assemblies into the overall aircraft architecture
  • Providing engineering expertise throughout the development cycle to address challenges related to kinematics and structural loads

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline is required
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, specifically involving dynamic elements or rotating machinery
  • Proficiency in CAD is mandatory
  • Professional command of English is necessary for daily technical communication and documentation
