Job Description

Design, research, build, test, and improve mechanical equipment, Systems and automation systems. Use CAD software to design factory automation systems and equipment.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, research, build, test, and improve mechanical equipment, Systems and automation systems
  • Use CAD software to design factory automation systems and equipment
  • Develop structural designs for products with the use of CAD (AutoCAD -SolidWorks) and other software programs
  • Assist project requirements and system specifications based on international standards, industrial requirement and regulations
  • Assist in designing Mechanical systems/structures
  • Assist in developing manufacturing drawings and Bill of Material
  • Assist in developing and testing design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility
  • Participate in product assembly
  • Assist in implementing Quality Management system (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Follow all HSE Requirements
  • Perform other tasks as required

Requirements

  • B.Sc. of Mechanical Engineer, machine design is preferred
  • Min: 3 Max: 5 years of experience
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English
  • Very good knowledge of the safety concept to make the machine secure for human usage
  • Engineering knowledge of defined requirements and validation of component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements, testing, and validation
  • Experienced in using Multibody dynamics simulation
  • Full awareness with international design standards and regulations (specially European standards)

  • Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive system-level optimization
  • Generate detailed production drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and perform a tolerance stack up analysis
  • Drive holistic design for manufacturing methods (DFM) to create elegant designs with a focus on piece part and process count reductions, error proofing at every step of fabrication and integration, and consistent performance and production metrics
