Job Description:

As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take charge of delivering mechanical installation projects valued up to £2.5 million. Your expertise will ensure projects run smoothly, meet client expectations, and adhere to safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead project delivery from pre-construction to completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and site teams
  • Collaborate with the Senior Contracts Manager to achieve financial targets
  • Facilitate site, client, and internal meetings to ensure alignment
  • Coordinate procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and manage project programmes using Microsoft Project
  • Maintain accurate records using company tools such as Procore and 1Breadcrumb
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and CDM regulations
  • Forecast project delivery and plan resources effectively
  • Provide regular reports to the senior team on project status

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical building services contracts management
  • Proven track record in delivering commercial projects valued up to £2.5 million
  • Familiarity with live environments such as hospitals and universities
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC and public health
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite
  • experience with Procore and 1Breadcrumb is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and Health & Safety practises
  • IOSH / SMSTS or similar H&S qualifications (desirable)
