Responsibilities • Support the assembly team by performing mechanical assembly of multiple truck body components. • Use hand and power tools safely to measure, align, drill, bolt, screw, and rivet various parts. • Perform raw material preparation by cutting wood or steel in anticipation of manufacture and assembly. • Assist with assembly prep work for various subassemblies to maintain a steady production flow. • Maintain a clean and safe shop environment by emptying garbage, sweeping, and organizing tools. • Clean and prepare trucks for shipment to ensure they meet quality standards. • Handle light receiving duties and assist the shop foreman with general daily tasks as required. • Follow all safety protocols within the manufacturing and logistics facility to prevent workplace accidents. Qualifications • Previous experience in a manufacturing and logistics or shop environment is preferred. • Proven experience with manual tools and basic power equipment. • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a natural ability to work with your hands. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks. • Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance. • Strong communication skills to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
