Job Responsibility

Perform the daily activities of the maintenance staff
Engage in repairs and maintenance of all material handling equipment and facilities to meet operational and facility needs
Provide electrical support for both facilities related items as well as operations level material handling systems and any other critical path electrical support
Serve as a leader in all maintenance troubleshooting activities including electrical, communication issues, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance, HVAC, lighting and repair of MHE and conveyors
Participate in and mentor others in analyzing defects and failures
Work closely with operations staff on problems associated with material handling equipment and building facility needs
Assess preventative maintenance needs, schedule, and participate in preventative maintenance on material handling and facilities equipment per provided schedule
Evaluate and mentor others in assessing equipment, processes, operations, and assembly to determine time or quality revisions and suggest improvement
Lead in team building at all levels within the distribution environment
Practice and teach safe work practices to prevent accidents
