Mechanical Aerospace Inspector Level 2

• Provide detailed in-process and end-of-line inspections on flight hardware
• Document anomalies in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes
• Communicate and help resolve quality related issues as they relate to the site
• Process non-conforming products and assist engineering in root cause analysis and corrective action if asked
• Routinely observe technical operations and offer guidance and/or serve as an additional technical resource
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

• 8+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in validating dimensions (total tolerances >/=.005” with minimal GD&T validation)
• Experienced with standard hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
• Knowledgeable in the use of computers and/or tablets
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with ITAR

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to deescalate workplace conflicts effectively
• Adaptable to diverse environments and teams within supplier operations
• Experienced in handling specific commodities related to parts inspection

Mileage Compensation ($0.70 per mile driven to and from supplier site)
