This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Hobbs, NM. Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, mechanical functions and repairs associated with equipment, machines and vehicles at a Cactus facility. This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.
Job Responsibility:
Practices safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive mechanical work on shop machines, equipment and vehicles
Interprets complex mechanical manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine troubleshooting and repair procedures
Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and performs maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machines
Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation of equipment
Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures
Follows lockout tag out procedures
Proceeds with minimal supervision
Requirements:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
Minimum two years’ experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical work on equipment and/or vehicles
Diesel experience required
Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Products
