Job Description:

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Hobbs, NM. Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, mechanical functions and repairs associated with equipment, machines and vehicles at a Cactus facility. This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.

Job Responsibility:

  • Practices safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
  • Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive mechanical work on shop machines, equipment and vehicles
  • Interprets complex mechanical manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine troubleshooting and repair procedures
  • Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and performs maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machines
  • Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation of equipment
  • Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures
  • Follows lockout tag out procedures
  • Proceeds with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
  • Minimum two years’ experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical work on equipment and/or vehicles
  • Diesel experience required
  • Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Products
