Mechanic

• Complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures
• Observe and adhere to the company Tooling Policy at all times
• Maintain awareness and ensure best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors
• Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the MOE
• Ensure that they keep their personal work area, hangar bays and facility clean and tidy at all times
• Notify the company of any significant findings as soon as possible
• Raise a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident
• Obtain and retain company Authorisation
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested

• A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
• Proven work history in a base maintenance environment
• Experienced in completing wiring modifications primarily on the Airbus family of aircraft but Boeing aircraft would also be an asset
• You will need to demonstrate your technical experience as well as leadership behaviours, be able to work on your own initiative and make timely decisions
• Have the ability to interpret technical publications and make fact based decisions
• You need to have a flexible approach, show initiative, and deliver to tight deadlines

Boeing aircraft experience would also be an asset
