Job Responsibility

Routine Maintenance: Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on school buses and/or motor coaches
Diagnostics & Repairs: Identify and fix equipment issues
Compliance: Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles meet all regulations
Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed service logs for all repairs and inspections
Project Work: Participate in scheduled maintenance and fleet improvement projects

Requirements

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
ASE certifications (a plus, but not required)
Safety-conscious and team-oriented mindset

Nice to have

ASE certifications
CDL preferred

Responsible for the safe deposit and upkeep of any documents in possession in a proper manner
Ensuring machinery are thoroughly examined and report verbally and in writing the general condition of vehicles and/or machinery with emphasis on customer safety
Complying with warranty procedures during repairs ensure warranty displaced material returned on completion of a repair
Always assisting with good workshop and dealership housekeeping
Using specialised tools provided effectively and ensuring optimum use and best safe practices
