Are you a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our plant assets. You'll be the go-to expert for mechanical troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and equipment optimization. Work alongside a dynamic team and utilize your skills in maintenance, machining, and training to keep our operations running smoothly.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in safety and good housekeeping programs
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and respond to emergencies safely
  • Install, fabricate, repair, and maintain equipment and machinery
  • Utilize diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering drawings for tasks
  • Perform carpentry, plumbing, and work with power and hand tools
  • Install and repair locks, door closers, and related hardware
  • Insulate pipes, ducts, furnaces, tanks, ovens, walls, and ceilings
  • Erect and work from rigging, scaffolding, and ladders
  • Maintain and repair auto equipment and internal combustion machines
  • Perform electric arc and acetylene welding and cutting
  • Lead, assist, and train Mechanic apprentices
  • Inspect wells and take water samples
  • Assemble or rebuild equipment and parts
  • Perform duties of a Sheet Metal Worker and operate machine shop equipment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-4 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright
  • Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be drug and alcohol-free
  • Ability to secure and maintain a forklift driver's license
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Operate a computer
  • Learn the SAP system for parts requests
  • Exposure to temperature extremes and noise levels
  • Prolonged sitting or standing for 8-hour shifts (and/or rotating shifts)
  • Bending, twisting, handling, and controlling objects, tools, or controls
  • Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds
  • Regular attendance on-site and ability to work varying or rotating shifts
