Job Description:

Are you ready to advance your career in vehicle maintenance and repair? Lamers Bus Lines, a leader in school bus and motor coach transportation, is looking for experienced diesel mechanics to join our team.

Job Responsibility:

Routine Maintenance: Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on motor coaches
Diagnostics & Repairs: Identify and fix engine, transmission, and heavy equipment issues
Compliance: Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles meet all regulations
Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed service logs for all repairs and inspections
Project Work: Participate in scheduled maintenance and fleet improvement projects

Requirements:

Previous experienced with buses, trucks, or other heavy equipment
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
ASE certifications (a plus, but not required)
Safety-conscious and team-oriented mindset
