Job Description:

The city of Melrose seeks a skilled Mechanic/Welder to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Welding and fabricating parts
Performing routine maintenance
Responding to emergency breakdowns

Requirements:

Graduate of an automotive trade school (or have five-plus years of experience)
Hold a valid Massachusetts CDL and Hoisting License (or can obtain them within 90 days)
Possess strong mechanical skills
