Job Description

Our client is seeking a Mechanic III to work within their facilities located Carlsbad, NM on a 12-month assignment.

Job Responsibility

  • Serviced and maintained compressors, including VRU, gas lift, and instrument air systems
  • Performed troubleshooting, repairs, and routine inspections to ensure compressor reliability and uptime
  • Supported field operations with safe, efficient compressor maintenance in active production environments

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • technical degree preferred
  • Relevant mechanical certifications are a plus
  • Minimum 3 years in mechanical maintenance, specifically in compressor stations

Nice to have

Oilfield experience preferred, but not required
