Job Responsibility

  • Assist mechanics with repairs and preventive maintenance on trucks and 53' trailers
  • Perform basic mechanical and maintenance tasks under the supervision of the maintenance team
  • Participate in visual inspections of vehicles to identify issues or abnormalities
  • Help dismantle, clean, and replace certain mechanical parts
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized
  • Use tools and equipment safely
  • Report any abnormalities or issues observed on equipment to the supervisor
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong interest in heavy vehicle mechanics
  • Resourceful, hands-on, and quick learner
  • Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in mechanics (an asset, but not required)
  • Training in heavy vehicle mechanics (an asset, but not required)
